Quality Assurance EngineerJWay Group, Inc.

The Quality Assurance Engineer will focus on testing web and mobile applications. This involves working closely with the entire project team for all branches: Application Development, IT Support, and Cybersecurity.
The QAE will also be interacting with other departments for production support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Review system requirements and provide accurate analysis of the product
Create, execute, and maintain a test plan for each project assignment
Find any bugs before software changes are released to production
Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and work with the leads in improving the team's process
Help establish Quality Assurance strategies and best practices
Stay current with industry trends in testing strategies
Assist in checking data quality issues and discrepancies
Help maintain product documentation and create quick reference guides for users
Support IT Operations and Cybersecurity audit requirements
Adhere to company processes and procedures to enable smooth flow of product
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
More than three (3+) years of experience in software testing
Solid understanding of project management, QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Ability to create comprehensive test scenarios
Basic SQL knowledge
Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
Familiarity with Agile practices
Familiarity with different levels of software testing
Good communication skills
Ability to work in multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Open to learning new technologies
Preferred but not required:
Experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI)
Experience with browser automation tools like Selenium
Experience with any programming language
Experience with CI/CD
Experience with AWS
Experience with Docker
Familiarity with web application security best practices
