DTN is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our engineering team in Manila.
You will be part of a cross-functional team and together we will enable customers from all around the world to understand the weather.
We're dedicated to deliver applications that our users can depend on and love to use. There are always new features to be developed, new technologies to try out and new problems to tackle. We're constantly revisiting previous solutions to improve what we already have and learn from past mistakes and pick up new things along the way.
As a QA Engineer at DTN, you will be responsible for creating automated testing processes as part of a team of engineers developing and maintaining product delivery solutions for weather related marketplaces. Would you like to make a difference in industries that are impacted by weather?
Your day to day:
Develop, apply and maintain test strategies, test plans and test scripts
Develop, apply and maintain automated regression testing scripts, performance and load testing scripts
Lead the QA effort on designated projects
Follow established process for defect tracking and reporting, including logging defects in a detailed and reproducible way
Analyze formal test results in order to discover, document and resolve defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws
Ensure that new software meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications are met and implemented successfully
Provide reporting and documentation for all testing efforts, results, activities, data, logging, and tracking.
Represent QA on cross-functional project teams
Estimate testing requirements for input into planning efforts
Communicate test estimate, test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management
What you bring to the team
Strong knowledge of AWS, ReactJS, .Net/.Net Core and testing with these languages
Experience working in a cross functional team
Determination for you and your team to deliver quality code
Experience with front-end and backend web development testing
Experience with Automated tests (Unit, Functional, Acceptance), MVP and Continuous Integration
Good oral and written communication skills in English
Bachelor's degree required
