Senior Performance Tester Taguig, Philippines The Senior Performance Tester is part of a team that designs, builds, executes, and analyzes performance tests and benchmarks for Infor Software products. The Senior Performance Tester works closely with Senior Performance Tester Taguig, Philippines The Senior Performance Tester is part of a team that designs, builds, executes, and analyzes performance tests and benchmarks for Infor Software products. The Senior Performance Tester works closely with the Infor product development organization and Infor partners to ensure that the performance of Infor's products meets or exceeds the customers' expectations. Essential Functions: Responsible for developing, designing, building, executing, and analyzing performance tests and benchmarks. Works on multiple complex tasks where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined procedures and practices in developing methods and techniques for obtaining results. Defines and creates performance workload tests that represent customer usage of Infor's products. Defines and executes performance tests that adequately measure the effects of varying workload or application parameters. Identifies key performance measures, articulates the implications of these measures on application and system performance, and analyzes the performance characteristics of workload tests based on these measures. Identifies performance inconsistencies in performance testing, analyzes and isolates problem areas, and teams with Infor development and partner resources to understand and resolve performance problems. Documents results from performance testing providing a high level overview for management and a detailed analysis for development. Establishes and maintains benchmark processes that facilitate performance testing of Infor's products. Establishes standard methods for executing performance tests, collecting performance measurements, and analyzing performance results. Establishes standard methods for analyzing and understanding performance inconsistencies. Develops and documents standards for the installation and configuration of operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers, Infor applications and environment, and other 3rd party products. Designs and implements a performance toolset that includes, but is not limited to, application instrumentation and monitoring tools, data generation utilities, system resource monitoring and analysis tools, database performance monitoring and analysis tools, online simulation tools, workload generation utilities and application modeling tools. Develops expertise in the use of these tools and mentors others in their usage. Integrates all tools into the performance testing process. REQUIRED SKILLS: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience 5 or more years of experience in Performance Testing Extensive scripting experience in Performance testing using LoadRunner and/or using industry standard performance testing and automation tools such as Jmeter. Experience in software and system performance, load, stress, and stability testing is required Experience in using other functional testing automation tools like RF and Selenium, is a plus Experience in conducting methodical performance evaluations Proficient problem solving, interviewing and fact-finding skills Knowledge of performance engineering concepts, source code management and configuration management Strong written and verbal skills
