Position Outline
The QA Analyst is an instrumental member of the engineering team, helping to ensure that our software solutions are fit for the end user's needs. As a QA Analyst you will work closely with the entire product and engineering team to review and understand the overall functional and non-functional requirements while keeping a user's perspective in mind.
Activities in this role will include understanding the user goals and technical challenges to facilitate a good dialogue about requirements before forming test cases, identifying defects and helping the team to drive them to resolution. Ideally, candidates will possess a drive for understanding the details in the system as it will allow them to predict and deflect complex problems before they reach production.
This role will focus on the quality of features and changes to our Enterprise Platform. The platform is built around Salesforce.com with more of the functionality being progressively dispersed into micro services managed by Mulesoft.
The role provides experience and technical expertise to the team about how best to balance the ideal test methodologies with a hands-on pragmatic approach when testing business processes in Salesforce. The role will create test plans and test cases, execute them and work with product and engineering teams to resolve issues and ensure proper closure.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
The role as the Quality Assurance Analyst will include:
Understand how the business works and the world of our operations and sales teams.
Review user goals with our product teams and be part of the process of shaping the quality of the actual requirements
Create and execute test cases to validate features are working as expected.
Collaborate closely with product/business teams to reproduce, analyze and resolve problems.
Logs defects and tracks them through closure.
Reports test results assigned features and functionality keeps status of testing current in Jira.
Assists the team in the resolution of production issue escalations.
Demonstrates a team approach to quality.
Recommend improvements to tools company uses for software and system testing.
Capabilities & Experiences:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
More than 4 years testing software as part of a team.
Knowledge of modern testing methodologies.
More than 2 years working with Salesforce.
Knowledge of modern testing methodologies.
Hand-on experience of automation tools preferred.
Good test data management skills preferred.

Strong attention to detail and enjoys making a list to strike out each point as you work your way though.
