Responsibilities
Coordinate activities of the Laboratory Analysts in the performance of physical and chemical analysis of incoming raw materials, in-process and finished products, and stability samples.
Oversee the work of laboratory personnel performing routine testing including planned laboratory work, evaluating performance and handling any procedural or technical problems that may occur.
Maintain Laboratory in a cGMP and GLP compliant and inspection-ready state.
Act as technical source of subjects related to Laboratory Practices, Instrumentations and Quality Control functions and processes.
Proponent in the execution of discipline and implementation of Safety practices in the laboratory by ensuring all personnel are fully trained, all personnel protective equipment are available
Review and approve protocols and reports such as method validation, process validation and stability studies
Act as QC representative in problem solving analysis, technical discussions, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Quality issues, Corrective/Preventive Actions and Systems Improvement to facilitate investigation and resolution to address compliance issues.
Support activities related to internal/external audits and regulatory queries as required
Provide leadership, management evaluation and training to all laboratory employees.
Qualifications:
With a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering and other related courses.
with at least 3 years experience in a supervisory/managerial position gained in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry
With knowledge in GMP, GLP, ISO and HACCP
Knowledge of HPLC/Spectrophotometry is an advantage
With good analytical skills, decision making skills, and knowledge of problem solving tools
With good management skills and can communicate/articulate properly
Team player, cooperative, responsible, honest, hardworking, with initiative and fast learner
