Position Responsibilities
Tests software to ensure that developed products meet requirement specifications and are within quality criteria and standards
Develop test documentation such as test plan, test cases, test scenarios, create test data and identify defects within the software products
Create and execute manual test cases using the standard tools utilized by the team.
Performs simple to moderately complex functional, integration, regression, compatibility and performance tests with supervision
Build ownership and subject matter expertise on various product features
Suggest and participate in implementing QE process improvements
Actively attends/conduct quality peer reviews of test cases/scripts.
Work closely with cross-cultural development teams to ensure quality testing practices are incorporated across the development cycle
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Business, Computer Science, IT or related fields
2 to 3+ years of experience in Software Testing involving different software testing types.
Experience in using scheduling tool or accounting or project accounting systems or similar product is preferable.
Experience with Testing Processes and Defect Management
Strong communication skills
Good understanding of Scrum or other Agile methodologies
Goal-oriented, results-driven, team-player, self-starter, proactive
Basic knowledge on writing SQL queries would be an advantage
Experience with Test Automation (optional)
