QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum five (5) years of inspection experience on Civil works management
Diploma or equivalent on Civil Engineering and Building works.
Able to read Engineering drawings
Have knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001: Quality System.
Knowledge / experience in Civil, Concrete works, steel fixing works require,
Enforce safety instructions
Enforce quality / environmental instructions,
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Stop work when conditions are unsafe or liable to lead to a situation that threatens the safety of workers, structures, systems and/or components,
Review and sign the Subcontractor/ Construction Notification for Inspection (NFI) and submitted to the Client representative as per applicable Inspection and Test Plan.
Perform inspections on Civil works activities (Incoming Material control, Concrete works, Rebar assembling, Pile driving, Civil building works, etc) in accordance with Design Drawing, Method Statement and Inspection and Test Plan, etc.
Perform evaluation and Surveillance inspection at Supplier / Subcontractor- upon requested by Quality Manager
Raise non-conformity reports for any deviation discovered during site inspection against design documentation, specification and normative documents.
Provide technical Quality advice to determine the causes of non-conformity, propose corrections, corrective and preventive actions,
Keep monitoring the Measuring Equipment condition and calibration validity, stop to use if the calibration expired or is not suitable and acceptable for the concerned work,
Follow-up comment / remarks / punchlist raised by the Client during the inspection.
Follow-up As-built survey drawing, Lab testing report, material certificates and As-built drawings, which are attach to the inspection report.
Prepare necessary Inspection and test records required and to ensure that all updated into the electronic database (Novade) on a timely basis
Assist the Novade administrator to maintain QC Records per activity / discipline; verified the progress updated into Novade database.
At all times, work under the direction of the Quality Manager,
Take part in internal work meetings and external meeting with client when requested
Ensure that the processes required for the quality, safety and environmental management system are established,
Knowledge / experience in quality assurance and quality control in civil works require.
