Description :
Drive subcontractor process controls and quality improvements through audits and the implementation of the corrective / preventive actions (CARs) and material review (MRB) quality systems.
Implement methods and procedures for testing, inspecting and evaluating products and/or production flows, which includes new products (NPI). Support the implementation of wafer and package testing and test process methodologies and controls. Support the implementation of test backend processes (visual inspection, marking, tape-&-reel and packing).
Lead the management and problem resolution of customer quality issues that may lead to returns and recalls.
Lead or support assigned continuous improvement projects that may include lean or six sigma activities.
Support Lattice certifications and registrations - ISO/9000, automotive ISO/TS16949 systems and other industry standards.
Regularly report quality indicators and updates to management.
Required Experience:
5+ years semiconductor or electronics industry experience
Able to use skills as an experienced professional with an understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures; resolve issues in imaginative as well as practical ways
Has experience in dealing with Assembly and Test subcontractors, or factory process engineers and other stakeholders, to resolve quality issues and drive improvements.
Must be detail oriented with strong customer service skills
Can demonstrate hands-on working knowledge of quality systems (ISO9000, ISO/TS16949, electronic industry standards).
High level of computer skills with knowledge of MS Office
Can work well with teams in a global setting
Strong English language speaking and writing skills
Willing and able to undertake US / Asia International travel
Experience in dealing with external customers is a plus
Six sigma training is a plus
Involvement in new products (NPI) is a plus
