Specific Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop cost-effective design layouts based on construction specifications and requirements.
• Perform design changes and improvements according to changing project demands.
• Analyze design issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure completed works are carried out in compliance with relative codes, standards and quality guidelines.
• Determine construction cost and material estimates based on civil designs.
• Perform field surveys and investigations to prepare engineering drawings.
• Review project plan and determine the design feasibilities and constraints.
• Manage design projects within allotted timelines and budgets.
• Provide assistance to design and construction teams
Civil Engineer
• Manage overall monitoring; project execution, evaluate and monitor manpower activity
• Maintain the different phases of the project and evaluate all the technical problems, report it to the site coordinator and resolve them
• Ensure the safety measures on site and ensure that all quality control regulations are met
• Supervise the work in accordance to project timeline and deadlines
• Timely coordination with team leader, project manager and other engineers
• Prepare technical documents and ensure that the work was carried in accordance to the drawings and specifications
• Ability to plan and oversee construction and rebuilding as well as the maintenance of a wide range of environment and the like
• Making recommendations or presenting alternative solutions to problems.
• Developing detailed designs
• Doing feasibility assessments and site inspections
• Preparing and implementing project plans
QA/QC Engineer
• Implement the QA/QC standards at the project site. Orients site personnel on these QA standards and procedures.
• Verify if the quality related site activities are in accordance with the approved standards or compliant to applicable codes and standards.
• Control all non-conformance reports and ensure that remedial works are undertaken.
• Prepares and submit to management the summary reports on quality and related issues encountered at the project.
• Have knowledge and experience with telecommunication industry such as cell site, fiber optics
Position Requirements
• Candidate must possess at least Professional License (Passed Board / Professional License Exam) in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
• Preferably at least 5 years experience in the same or identical industry
• Must be detail oriented, honest, hard working with good communication and time management skills
• Willing to be relocated in other location
