We're expanding our Professional Services Team to make sure we stay ahead of the competition.
Role and Responsibilities
Work with stakeholders and fellow developers.
Design and implement Python code using the Django framework.
Identify and fix bottlenecks that may arise from inefficient code.
Identify and fix software bugs.
Create a wide variety of unit tests to verify the functionality of software.
Manage the security of the platform.
Write detailed documentation around the code.
Knowledge of front end languages.
Include maintenance of Web server for both local and cloud (AWS)
Write effective, scalable code
Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
Integrate user-facing elements into applications
Test and debug programs
Improve functionality of existing systems
Implement security and data protection solutions
Assess and prioritize feature requests
Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions
Maintain and administer existing and future applications/modules
Job Requirements:
Preferred 2+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
Experience in the following tools/technologies:
Python & Django
Amazon Web Services
Javascript
microservices, web services and APIs in Python
GIT version control
The ability to problem-solve and critically think.
High level of knowledge of Python and the Django framework.
Familiarity with event driven programming as well as the MVC.
Good understanding of SQL databases.
Good understanding of REST APIs.
