Missions and Responsibilities
This role is responsible in improving customer service, optimize inventory level, and drive production efficiency through right balance between Supply and Demand at volume and mix level.
1) Inventory Management and Control
Drive the day-to-day supply-demand matching activities for PAG gases and bulk buy-out gases.
Implement and maintain supply strategies for assigned products by regular review and optimisation of inventory parameters.
Lead/participate in regular business and performance reviews with stakeholders (SC, Sales, Finance, OpsControl).
Review out of stock situations or shortage of supply issues and recommend mitigating actions
Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain issues/variances and perform define corrective action plans to avoid reoccurrence.
Monitor actual inventory levels
2) Order Monitoring and Execution
Ensure timely issuance of orders and reorders based upon agreed lead time and capacity availability to match demand.
Monitoring and execution of the inbound Supply Chain process (sourcing>ordering>delivery>srv)
Track packing list (inbound and outbound).
3) Production Planning (PvD)
Serve as the pivotal role between Sales and Production in matching demand and production schedule. Lead weekly Production vs Demand meeting (PvD) meetings.
Identify potential supply performance problems
Lead in readiness meetings to support critical periods (scheduled preventive maintenance, critical downtimes, holidays, and other instance that deviates from normal production schedule.
4) Import and Export tactical and operational Activities.
Lead in management and monitoring of all import and export transactions related to traded gases (molecule and rentals).
Sourcing and negotiations of buyout products and related services.
Handle IMPEX documentation and monitoring of cost to ship.
Liaison role in coordination and communication between forwarders & suppliers
5) Process & Systems
Evaluate current processes and determine methods for improvement for continuous improvement.
Document critical processes and digitalization of critical Supply Chain reports.
