JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
· Graduate of any Engineering, Customs Administration or Management/Accounting course
· At least five (5) years of related work experience as Purchasing Imports Supervisor in a manufacturing or trading/retail industry firm
JOB DESCRIPTION
o Receives and reviews shipping documents from External Providers of foreign origin including terms and conditions of shipment.
o Prepares and submits importation related documents to nominal and accredited broker.
o Receives updates on Actual Time of Arrival (ATA) and computes Estimated Duties and Taxes.
o Receives approved computation of Duties and Taxes.
o Instructs broker to proceed with the filing of Import Entry Declaration and Assessment.
o Receives final computation of Duties and Taxes.
o Informs bank for debit payment.
o Prepares Debit Memo Slip for payment and forwards to Treasury for processing.
