Description
• Maintain Inventory and Purchase Records Accuracy.
• Interact with suppliers on a day to day basis.
• Review and track the status of deliveries against the orders.
• Deal with under orders, over orders and damaged goods with suppliers.
• Arrange meeting with suppliers and key stakeholders.
• Formulate, review, and update sourcing plans and strategies covering the purchase of items from both local and foreign suppliers
• Analyze and improve forecasting and reordering based on demand.
• Ensure proper identification, evaluation, accreditation of reliable sources of supply to deliver quality and cost-effective items and supplies needed by the Company for its operations.
• Ensure continuous supply of inventories to meet the long and short term requirements of the Company.
• Continuously monitor report and act on global supply situation that may affect availability, price, lead time, and development of new products.
• Evaluate supplier performance to assess conformance to Company standards of quality, price and service.
• Negotiates with local and international suppliers at the best possible terms (e.g., cost, delivery terms, payment terms, etc.) and sets up frame contracts.
Job Qualifications:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in related field is required for this position.
• Strong analytical and planning skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Fukien and Mandarin is a plus.
