Purchaser for BE Residences/ BE Hotels & Resorts in Mabuhay Tower, IT Park
PURPOSE
Ensure that all validated request/s of every department are catered to with utmost consideration on quality and cost of the goods. Must also ensure that all requested items are delivered on time and conform to the resort's established policies and procedures on supplies requisition.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Sources and maintain records of possible vendors and preferred vendors;
Ensures all purchase requests and endorsed quotations are approved and within budget;
Gathers, compares and evaluates vendor's quotes and negotiates prices, terms and conditions, inclusions/exclusions;
Assess purchase quotation, prepares Purchase Orders (PO) and recommends approval;
Serve approved Purchase Order (PO) to vendors and monitors purchase status and delivery;
Records purchase transactions, updates status and records delivery receipt for reference by accounting ;
Receives delivery for general or indirect purchases, distributes and issued to proponent or end-users;
Collates and ensures purchase documents are valid and complete; endorses to accounting for payment processing;
Directly in coordination with vendors and proponents for transactions within the whole procure to pay process;
Oversee and in-charge of monitoring receipt and usage of owner supplied material for the project and inventory/suppliers maintained in office, storage and/or warehouse;
Other related task as may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS
College Graduate
with at least two to three (2) years experience as purchaser in a resort, hotel or restaurant, as well as other industries
proficient in MS office applications, most notably Excel
organized, keen to details
demonstrate good organizational skills
Can start ASAP
