1. Primarily tasked to provide an efficient and effective professional financial service to the company and to ensure that statutory obligations for financial
management are met and maintained and that an effective, efficient and responsive financial support service to the business partners and units.
2. Plan, implement and oversee overall accounting strategy
3. Oversee accounting daily opperations
4. Take responsibility for accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and
expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc
5. Monitor and analyse accounting data
6.Regularly produce financial reports or statements
7.Adhere to proper accounting methods, policies and principles
8.Encourage other employees to adhere to standartds
9. Train new employees on Accounting Matters
10. Perform and oversee annual and on the spot audits
11. Provide recommendations
12. Meet financial accounting objectives
13. Prepare and present KPIs to stakeholders
Qualifications
A graduate of BS Accountancy, preferably CPA
At least 1-2 years with accounting , bookkeeping, accounts payables and audit experiences.
Knowledgeable in general accounting and preparation of financial reports.
Computer literate and familiar with some or all PC applications: Excel, Word & PowerPoint
Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of customers
Highly personable, articulate, and keen to details
Ability to prioritize and complete duties while working with a large volume of detailed information under tight deadlines
