Job Descriptions
Ensure that all kinds legal permits for the Bignay Socialized Housing Project are obtained from the LGU of Valenzuela like the development permit and building permit; and ECC from DENR and Verified Survey Return (VRS) from the LRA.
Develops Construction Program Evaluation Review Technique - Critical Path Method (PERT-CPM) with S-Curve with Implementing Partners (IPs) of the Bignay Socialized Housing Project ensuring that construction activities shall attain timely completion based on the schedule of POWs avoiding cost slippage.
Develops Program of Works (POWs) of the Bignay Socialized Housing Project with implementing partners and other contractors or direct workers, as the case may be, to support the timeframe of actual build and achieve target of completion.
Perform weekly monitoring and coordination meetings with IPs of the Bignay Socialized Housing Project to ensure adherence of construction accomplishments vis-à-vis POWs; and prepare weekly construction accomplishment reports vs. targets with explanation on gaps or variances, if any.
Monitor the financial and physical accomplishments on the construction of the Bignay Socialized Housing Project and provide explanation on the gaps and variances, if any.
Assist in the technical assessment on the feasibility of house and facilities construction projects in Luzon area.
Assist in the assessment of house designs and community facilities for purposes of compliance to budget, legal regulations and timelines.
Assist in the preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM) of the construction projects in Luzon Areas.
Generates work accomplishment reports consolidating accomplishment percentage of build, budget vs. cost, cost to date (weekly and monthly for payroll purposes) and estimate of materials and labor cost based on plan of other projects in Luzon area.
Assist in the monitoring of attendance of direct workers for payroll for projects directly managed by HABITAT in Luzon areas
Assist in the monitoring of materials and inventory in warehouse and review inventory reports (weekly and monthly of projects in Luzon areas.
Prepares updated reports to management on existing projects and attends internal meetings within HABITAT, and also external meetings with the project partners such as LGU's, government agencies, etc.
Performs other job-related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Job Qualifications
Licensed Civil Engineer
College graduate of Civil Engineering
With Minimum of 3 years, experience, including at least 1 year in a management capacity.
With 2-3 years work experience as site engineer for town homes or low rise housing or 4-5 years as site engineer for building.
