A Construction Project Manager is expected to work with various suppliers and stakeholders, ensuring that a proper plan and timetable is set while accounting for the cost of materials, supplies and labor. Aside from having an excellent grasp of the construction process, as well as architectural and engineering principles, a Construction Project Manager must be able to have time management and multitasking skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively and establish rapport with different kinds of stakeholders.
 
Qualifications:
Planning - focused on works to be done. Establish objectives and goals clearly on works to be done. Involving everybody in the planning and estimating process.
Organizing - group skills, talent and ability to perform specific functions to include equipment mobility schedules and coordination for a planned task.
Staffing - should be able to identify personnel requirement to qualifications needed to an assigned task to include schedules of deployment. Cost to deploy personnel within the approved budget will be considered to include qualified personnel to handle specific jobs.
Technical Review on Plans and Specifications - should be able to read, comprehend, interpret technical aspect of plans and directs subordinates for proper coordination with Design Consultants, Owners representatives and Trade-cons.
