Skills Required:
At least 2-3 years of working experience in water infrastructure projects (pipelaying, water treatment plants, reservoirs, tanks, etc.)
Knowledgeable on design software such as AutoCAD, WaterGems, EPANET is required.
With strong interpersonal skills and must be able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, consultants, contractors, etc.
Knowledgeable on industry standards to ensure that design layouts and site works are in conformity with engineering practice.
Ability to identify resource requirements (manpower, installation tools, equipment etc.) which are necessary for the completion of site activities on time and wihtin the approved schedule.
Ability to interpret plans and specification and contract administration.
Ability to work with mutiple discipline projects.
Job Description Summary:
Review and evaluate existing water supply system not limited to the following: Pressure Management, NRW Management, Operational Data: Service Connections; Average Consumptions, etc.
Recommend and present strategies that will guide the prioritization of long-term solutions to address the future needs of the business.
Recommend and present strategies that will guide the prioritization of short-term solutions to address the immediate needs of the business.
Review engineering documents related to civil drawings, structural and related civil engineering fields.
Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activites, and resolving problems.
Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications and plan, scheduling changes and recommending actions.
Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules and regulations.
Maintains project database which will monitor all project deliverables including budget.
Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel performance)
Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
