Job Descriptions
The Special Project Engineer under the Network Engineering and Operations Build will conduct actual site survey and prepares detailed layout plan for Government and Non-Government projects. Supervise and monitors the implementation of all projects this includes transport upgrade, cable rehab, emergency rerouting, MERALCO pole clearing and Pole extraction. Overall function would also include updating of PT&T Access Network Map.
Responsible for the plans, target and acceptance of the whole Special Project Team.
Create baseline and process improvement in areas needed.
Attend meetings with Local Government, and Clients.
Ensure that a project runs smoothly and that the structure is completed on time and within budget.
Project Management function including time, and cost management.
Involved in the initial stage of the project up to closing.
Administer the team in the project planning stage.
Perform control and monitoring of the project based on plans guided by the engineering, and quality standard.
Conduct staking for Special Projects.
Undertake technical and feasibility studies.
Conduct actual site survey for cable facility, which includes fiber routes and node or splitter terminations.
Job Qualifications
Completed a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and/or Communications Engineering or any of its equivalent (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply!)
Proficient with writing reports, business correspondences, and procedure manuals.
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet set-deadlines.
Excellent presentation, verbal and written English communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
Must have knowledge on MS Project, Visio, Excel, PPT etc.
