Job Description:
The Project Engineer shall be responsible for managing contractors for construction activities in our projects. They shall monitor the timely completion of the project within agreed quality standards.
Qualifications:
· Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer
· At least 2 years relevant work experience in construction site supervision of a residential and commercial development company with excellent hands-on construction skills (general construction)
· Experience in supervising construction projects with excellent understanding of civil, architectural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and finishing work
· Hands-on experience with directing the activities of contractors and workers in vertical construction
· Ability to organize resources (time, materials, labor), multi-task and supervise numerous workers handling a variety of tasks
· Good judgment and analytical skills in order to evaluate issues that occur in the field and be able to determine proper corrective action
· Proficient in reviewing and reading engineering drawings
· Thorough knowledge of local Building and Engineering Codes
· Understanding of proper safety procedures and recognition of hazards
· Good interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills
