The opportunity
Project: A total of 5 kilometers of elevated walkways, including construction of new walkways and replacement or widening of existing footbridges at four transit stations along EDSA. The elevated walkways will be covered and properly lit. The project will have elevators to support an improved pedestrian environment, promoting the use and increasing the capacity of Manila's mass transit system.
To be managing the project development from start to finish.
A full-time Project Director to be based in Manila, Philippines.
You will part of an amazing global business and could work with experienced staff to develop your project management skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing direction and support to project team.
Planning and implementing of project from inception to handover of the project.
Developing a full-scale project plan.
Managing the project budget and resource allocation.
Determining and assessing need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitment if necessary, during the project cycle.
Ensuring the quality assurance of the projects.
Monitoring and reporting on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
Implementing and managing the project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
Projecting the evaluations and assessment of results.
Defining the project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Determining the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analysing results and troubleshoot problem areas.
Building, developing and cultivating any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
About you
With a relevant degree qualification, minimum 15 years of professional experience, 5 years of experience in FIDIC based contract management. With more than 10 years of experience in project management in construction projects. Experience working in ADB or similar international organizations financed project would be valued. You will take personal development seriously and be chartered or pursuing a similar level of professional qualification.
