Responsibilities
Build and foster strong stakeholder relationship at all levels of the organization and collaborate with functional learning teams to identify strategic and tactical goals for all learning programs.
Apply extensive knowledge of adult learning theories, learner-centric design, and business and organizational acumen to develop innovative and engaging programs that drive performance.
Develop an instructional strategy for different learning interventions based on established business objectives, learner needs and characteristics, and learning environment.
Evaluate existing curricula for effectiveness and instructional soundness, evaluate goals and objectives, and plan the strategic approach for each program to provide faster learning, better retention, and more direct job application.
Recommend and implement measurement and assessment strategies for learning activities.
Research and evaluate leading-edge learning concepts and techniques to determine relevant application.
Coordinate and develop relationships with other stakeholders, institutions, and industry experts to obtain external expertise, best practices, and collaboration to further expand instructional technology base.
Provide instructional design, consulting, and/or project management of assigned projects as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum ten years in learning and development, with demonstrated focus on instructional design, performance consulting, and developing portfolios of diverse competency-based learning solutions that span both breadth and depth of organizational capabilities.
Demonstrated experience in leading teams of learning and development professionals across the design and development process and lifecycle of a learning solution and related portfolios of learning.
Experience with process optimization or continuous improvement in learning and development; experience with transformation and proven ability to be a change leader; deep understanding of the company's business strategies and priorities and how these translate into learning and development priorities; inquisitiveness of our functions' strategies and relationship to their professionals.
Demonstrate capability in project management fundamentals and ability to negotiate quality outcomes in a matrixed organization and with functional stakeholders as needed; command of communication and executive presence that spans diverse stakeholders and team members across the organization, levels of leadership and roles; ability to articulate communication strategies.
Understands market and/or industry trend in learning and development and can apply principles, innovations and concepts pragmatically with ability to operationalize efficiently into team; commercial acumen.
