The professional services software engineer joins a global team with members spread across the globe and is responsible with the creation of customized solutions that integrate with multiple 8x8 products and services that connect with our customer's applications such as CRM's, WFM tools or other 3rd party applications.
This is a remote position but it will require accommodating US working hours therefore flexibility and willingness of working night time hours is required.
What will you do?
By joining our global professional services engineering team, you will interact directly with our clients to create and implement different configurations and integrations between 8x8's and customer's applications.
How will you do it?
You will be responsible for creating customized solutions which enhance 8x8 products and services to meet customer's requirements based on a mutually agreeable statement of work (SOW).
On top of this, you will have direct contact with our customers in order to provide them with feedback and to address any particular questions that might arise along the implementation's lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Collect project requirements from customers through remote interviews;
Implement customized solutions and services based on the SOW utilizing 8x8 products, API's, and 3rd party software development tools as required;
Design and prototyping software development projects as required and be responsible for the quality of work produced;
Manage the customer's deployment of 8x8 services and solutions as specified in SOW;
Present 8x8 services and customized solutions to customers, including executives and end-users;
Meet or exceed P&L goals for professional services;
Configuring systems that we have in 8x8, integration with scripting with PHP and Python.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in the technology area;
Javascript, PHP or Pyhon scripting languages;
API, Rest Api's knowledge, integration with 3rd party systems;
Relational databases experience;
Web application architecture understanding;
Professional communication, will engage directly with customers;
English is a must;
Java knowledge is a plus;
Experience in CC, Voip, Video meetings applications is a plus.
