About the role:
You will be supporting the Production environment which include Production Issues, Move to Production and Post Prod Testing
Help Production Manager in assessing latest builds in staging before moving them to production (act as a Production Gatekeeper)
On standby during deployment and on call during Production Issue Support
Day to day task will include checks on each of the different products of Singlife and every functionality that comes with it (Purchase journey, Redemption, Cancellation, Claims etc)
Must be knowledgeable about the overall processes/functionalities of both Model 1 and Model 2 (on-going build) systems which will be covered during on-boarding
The QA Engineer's responsibilities are derived from the following principles:
Focus on quality improvement
Assure a suitable practice for the software development
Black box testing or white box testing
Constant monitoring
Include Risk Management with the Quality Affirmation
Minimize the cost of maintenance
Formulate the requirements
Position requirements:
QA Engineer must have a technical background with at least 5 years of work experience in one or more IT areas including but not limited to:
Quality Assurance engineering
Business analysis
REST API experience (good to have)
Should have the following attributes:
