Job Description:
Material Resource Planning (MRP)
Create weekly and monthly production plan
Reconcile inventory variance with warehouse
Close Coordination with Warehouse Logistics, Production, Third party warehouse and Tollers
To handle production planning and inventory at MSL
Other Duties:
Develop, prepare and implement production plans and schedules based on customers orders, forecast and production capacity.
Reviewing schedules, processes, specifications, and related information.
Designing processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure accurate production planning.
Analyze production data, evaluate performance and make adjustments to optimize production schedules.
Anticipate and mitigate potential production issues or bottlenecks to ensure smooth operations.
Establish inventory control policies, procedure and strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing carrying costs and stock-outs.
Monitor inventory levels, stock movements and conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies .
Collaborate with purchasing and procurement teams to manage raw material and component inventory levels, ensuring availability while avoiding excess stock.
Analyze inventory data, including demand patterns and lead times, to forecast future inventory needs accurately.
Implement inventory optimization techniques, such as saftey stock levels, economic order quantities (EOQ), and just-in-time (JIT) principles.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements in the production planning and inventory control functions.
Collect and analyze date related to production output, inventory levels, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to generate meaningful reports and insights.
Develop and maintain dashboards and metrics to monitor and evaluate production planning and inventory control performance.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity by maintaining appropriate documentation and implementing quality control measures.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education:
College Graduate- BS Industrial Engineering/ Business Management or related field.
Experience:
Atleast 2 years experience with same position/ equivalent
Excellent communication, math and accounting skills
With background in SAP/ ERP system (Preferred)
