Location: Remote / FlexibleJob SummaryThe Production Assistant will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient production operations to support the company's mission of delivering premium natural health products. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, manufacturers, and co-packers to maintain material availability, executing production runs based on demand forecasts, and tracking financial activities related to inventory and production.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Execution
Determine the quantity of raw materials needed for upcoming production runs based on stock levels, orders, and demand forecasts.
Execute production runs to ensure timely availability of finished products.
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials.
Purchase Order Management & Supplier Coordination
Create, issue, and manage purchase orders for raw materials.
Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and co-packers to ensure material availability, timely delivery, and smooth production flow.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Develop and maintain SOPs for production and inventory processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Process & Cost Optimization
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve operational efficiency, and reduce costs.
Financial Tracking
Track invoices and ensure timely processing of all inventory and production-related financial transactions.
Compliance & Regulatory Support
Support compliance initiatives and contribute to maintaining adherence to relevant regulations and internal standards.
Additional Support
Perform other related tasks as assigned by management to ensure operational efficiency.
RequirementsRequirementsEducation & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
1-3 years of experience in production coordination, supply chain, manufacturing, or inventory management - preferably in the health, wellness, or consumer goods industry.
Familiarity with working with suppliers, manufacturers, and co-packers is highly preferred.
