Job Description
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree graduate
At least 8 years of experience in the technology field
At least 5 years of experience in project management
Exemplary core project management skills and knowledge of SDLC for both waterfall and agile delivery
Has experience in successfully leading complex and mult component IT projects
PMP Certified is a plus
Knowledge or experience of banking operations is a plus
Responsibilities:
Project Management is a key function to the bank given the critical state we are at now relative to implementing strategic initiatives as well as strengthening internal capabilities/technologies.
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the delivery of technology related efforts both strategic and business initiated projects with varying complexity across different types such as but not limited to launching new products and services, large scale application development, systems integration, regulatory and security compliance, operational efficiency improvements, infrastructure and application upgrades.
The PM manages the Project Team of various s both internal and external resources and chairs regular meetings with the Project Team and Project Sponsor/Steering Committee to review progress on the overall delivery plan in relation to scope, cost and schedule and project risks/issues and dependencies
