Your role
As the resident blockchain expert in the product team, you will explore new and arising opportunities and innovative integrations, including cryptocurrencies, NFTs and GameFi, across Coda's entire product portfolio. You will personally develop and be the lead vision holder and ultimate product owner for any resulting short or long term initiatives, acting as the main champion and evangelist.
Your role
Develop a winning long term, cohesive blockchain strategy for Coda that is cohesive and additive with larger company goals and OKRs. Develop and own the model and ultimate P&L for the resulting business as well as the user experience, taking into account the competitive landscape. Define the KPIs for success and any associated OKRs for the business line.
Know the customer inside and out and what motivates them; you will act as the internal representative of that voice.
Develop, plan and implement incremental tactical initiatives that validate and build toward your larger vision and strategy via the usual PM activities like writing user stories and backlog management and prioritization. You'll take it from zero to GTM and iterations beyond.
Build out, utilize and manage any required resources, such as PED or marketing, toward achieving your ends.
Requirements
Deep passion for all things blockchain, crypto, DApps, Web3, GameFi, DeFi and NFTs. You can see through the hype to the real-world application and value and you're excited by what could be.
You're up to speed on the latest trends and developments and opinionated on where things will progress. You know the competitive landscape and the major players and where they're likely to go next.
Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with applicable technologies or businesses. Ideally, you've had some direct win experiences but can definitely speak to what you've learned from your losses.
An experimental, data-driven mindset. You can quickly set up tests to get signals on your hypothesis. You're not afraid to fail in the journey toward unearthing the goal opportunity, wherever the numbers may take you.
You're scrappy and know how to maximize limited resources or OOTB tools in creative ways to stretch them to the fullest and to test your theories as quickly and cheaply as possible.
You're an executioner. You prefer action over talk and seeing real, incremental results. You're not afraid to get your hands dirty where it makes sense and keeps the momentum going. Plans that take more than a few weeks or a sprint to see results is too long for you.
You're entrepreneurial at heart. You know for each of your endeavours, no matter how large or small, that you're the ultimate owner and are accountable for the results and you love having the authority to be autonomous and execute. You aren't waiting for someone to tell you what to do next.
