Job Summary
The Product Development Specialist is responsible for researching, developing, and launching new products and solutions. In this position, the Product Development Specialist will work with individuals from across the organization to identify and define target market segments, market requirements, industry trends, technical and financial viability, key business strategies and the competitive environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Management, Marketing, or Marketing Communications
With at least 3 years in Marketing or Business development, including hands on experience of product development and pricing, brand management, marketing communications and customer relationship management
In-depth understanding of performance metrics and how to utilize them to measure the success of projects/program
Preferably with knowledge and understanding of consumer market and utility industry best practices and standards (regulatory, technological, etc.)
