Mission
As the Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for leading and sourcing product, projects, and services. Including sourcing strategy development, executing the bidding /quotation process, award recommendations, review and negotiation, purchase order issuance and contract execution in coordination with the legal team. Projects range from hardware, software, support services to digital marketing and online/offline ads.
As a Procurement Specialist your key objectives will be to...
Develop, implement and manage procurement strategy and processes
Support cost-effective procurement activities, including sourcing for suppliers and negotiating terms with suppliers/vendors
Execute and manage order fulfillment requests from business stakeholders and follow-up on purchasing matters including delivery planning and dispute resolution
Liaise with key stakeholders (Legal and Finance) to ensure compliance and favorable contractual obligations to the company
Manage supplier relationships, including development of KPIs
Analyse trends, identify and develop business improvement initiatives including but not limited to policies, processes and systems
Engage stakeholders to solicit feedback, perform gap analysis and develop effective solutions to address gaps
Provide education and training on procurement policies and best practices to the business users
Develop reporting tools and dashboards, support reporting requests and perform data analysis to facilitate management visibility on Procurement Spend Analysis.
Promote Procurement system adoption to business users
Create and maintain work process documentation
Provide recommendations to end users on RFP processes, to achieve optimal sourcing outcome.
What we're looking for:
Relevant Degree in Supply Chain, Business or IT with minimum 5-8 years of relevant working experience in Sourcing or Procurement operations management
Strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, communication & negotiation skills
Working knowledge in business systems processes
Understanding of project management capabilities
Results-driven and process-oriented mind-set
Strong ability to balance and manage priorities
Entrepreneurial mind-set to be able to work in a hyper-growth start-up environment
Strong in Microsoft Office applications, G-suite applications
Effective communication skill with senior management, admin level staff and stakeholders
Good writing/documentation skill
Ability to motivate and coach staff
