Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers
Identify potential suppliers based on project requirements
Negotiate contracts, terms and deadlines with vendors and suppliers
Reviews, evaluates and recomments specifications for issuing and awarding bids
Spearheads evaluation of vendor;s performance
Develop vendor's performance metrics to monitor vendor service delivery
Reviews current procurement strategies and internal processes and evaluate if it meets current operation requirements
Develops procurement metrics based on the approved key results area
Graduate of Management or Engineering or other related field
At least 5 years experience in Procurement services or any related field, 3 year of which in Managerial post.
Preferably certified Procurement Professional
Strong understanding of procurement and negotiation techniques
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
