Essential Job Functions: * Organize the execution of purchasing functions like inquiries, negotiations and other placements to optimize time utilization;
Maintain constant communication with suppliers on the latest trend both local and imported, including supply situation and prices;
Handle bidding procedure for high value requirements/projects and ensure that projects are properly documented;
Continuously improve procurement practices on materials purchased;
Institute measures to safeguard the company's interest when dealing with suppliers and imposing penalty clauses.

Professional Experience and Required Qualifications: * Candidate must be a graduate of BS Industrial Engineering from a reputable university;
With at least 2 years related working experience in a procurement role. Working experience in FMCG is an advantage;
With proficient MS Excel working knowledge required. Knowledge in computer-automated system is an advantage;
Good verbal and written English communication skills;
Flexible, able to work on own initiative, strong team player; effective and efficient interpersonal skills; highly motivated and driven to succeed.
