Description:
As Principal Systems Engineer in the Application and Desktop Virtualization Team you will be working in a global DevOps team to improve the user experiences. With a strong focus is on virtual desktop, security and external access to our infrastructure.
Requirements:
Experience:
Support of Virtual Desktop team in regards to support business process from any device.
Identify and eliminate issues based via several channels like user feedback, tickets characteristics and trend monitoring
Drive development and optimization of the Infrastructure and processes to improve User Experience and Efficiency
Implemented solutions and hand over to our service provider for the daily operations and incident/problem resolution.
Mandatory Skills:
At least 5 years' experience with Citrix technologies and IT Infrastructure space.
Prior experience in designing, planning and implementing large and complex Citrix solutions or leading projects in that area.
Technical knowledge in Citrix Virtual Apps and Virtual Desktops products, this includes FSLogix, UPM and WEM.
Experience with cloud technologies like Microsoft Azure and Citrix Clouds
Strong PowerShell scripting skills (for VMware, Citrix and Windows Server)
Very good understanding of IT Infrastructure technologies like VMware, storage, networking technologies and good knowledge of Microsoft Technologies like Active Directory, Windows Server, Windows 10, GPOs.
Knowledge of ITIL tools, processes and methodologies
Good understanding of network design and security concepts as well as Citrix ADC is a plus.
Excellent spoken and written English
Ability to learn new technologies, skills and adopt them to improve the overall landscape.
Willingness and readiness to travel.
Experience working in a virtual, international and multicultural environment.
Good communication skills, analytical thinking, motivation, and open for innovation and quality orientation.
Project management skills and knowledge about agile methodologies are welcome
