Description
As a member of the Datacenter Services team, the Cisco ACI DC Network engineer is responsible for:
Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Support the Software Defined Datacenter network infrastructure at Boehringer Ingelheim.
Administer and maintain the Cisco ACI environment globally
Automate routine, complex tasks as well as troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues.
Provisioning, management, orchestration, troubleshooting and perform root cause analysis
Collaborate with other IT teams (Managed Service, Application, Networking, Security, etc) as required
Requirements
Experience:
5+ years IT experience, minimum 2-3 years in Networking area
Experience in supporting large network infrastructures, preferably Cisco ACI fabric
Experience with implementing and managing Cisco Nexus 9K in ACI mode
Experience in capture, analyze and inspect data packets and TCP, IP flow in network and application flow.
Cisco Nexus Dashboard experience a plus
Experience in Software Defined Network design
Mandatory Skills:
Good knowledge Cisco ACI technology
Good Knowledge of advanced routing protocols, the OSI model, LAN, WAN, and network security
Good knowledge of monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem
Good knowledge of automation and configuration management tools (eg Ansible, Terraform)
CCNA R&S / CCNP R&S preferred
ITIL Knowledge
Strong command of English language (both verbal and written)
Additional Skills:
Undefined - 24x7: The resource will provide a 24x7 Service;
Regional Support: The service support is organized regionally;
Travel Considerations: Minimum able to travel to Singapore
