Summary of work to perform:
The pre-sales function is established in order to manage the risks related to qualified leads prior to becoming sales ready. The pre-sales engineer adds value to the sales process by employing their specialized capabilities for nurturing leads to bring a prospective customer to a higher level of readiness before turning the lead over to sales management for conversion. The pre-sales engineer is also expected to ensure the readiness of marketing professionals, sales agents and target channel partners to conduct sound prospecting as well as qualifying activities for the relevant brand and its products.
Job Description:
Meet up with vendors/partners/end customers to qualify requirements
Assist partners/end customers with their technical inquiries
Perform Proof of Concept / Demo to partners/end customers
Conduct product presentations to partners/end customers to provide technical and solutions overview
Coordinate with vendors Technical Assistance Center (TAC) for speedy resolution of problem.
Will be responsible in design layouts
Skills and Qualifications:
Has Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication/Electrical), Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
Knowledgeable in Information and communications technology - computing, network architecture, data and storage, power, cooling and cabling. Audio Visual - audio, video and control design and/or installation.
Has a determination and perseverance
Good communication (written and oral) skills
Results driven
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
