Pre-employment Check Junior Specialist Job APJ
ROLE DESCRIPTION
We, in Recruiting Operations team, are looking for a new colleague to support pre-employment screening process for the region Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). In this role you will be responsible for liaising with our external vendor, candidates and hiring managers in order to evaluate the outcome of the pre-employment check and to resolve possible discrepancies. You will have a chance to work with people all around the world as you will be part of a global team.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Initiating of pre-employment checks
Reviewing results of pre-employment checks
Resolving any discrepancies in the results of the pre-employment checks
Regular interface with legal, hiring managers and HR to resolve critical findings
Regular calls with our external vendor
To process enquires from external candidates as well as internal employees within a specified time frame
Active participation on the on-going revision project addressing the end-to-end pre-employment check process
Working in a virtual environment set-up
Navigating various systems such as certain SAP applications and our vendor platform
WORK EXPERIENCE
Experience/ knowledge/interest in the area of pre-employment verification process
Experience of working within a customer orientated environment is a plus
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Upper-intermediate written and spoken English language
Capability to work with confidential information
Accuracy / attention to detail
Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate and escalate via written or verbal methods with candidates and senior managers
Innovative and critical thinking and active participation within the global team
Effective analytic, problem solving and decision-making skills
