Job Description
A Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Strategist core is in the strategic creation, design, and execution of effective PPC campaigns to achieve specific client goals. You will be responsible for consistently analyzing campaigns throughout its lifecycle, and making necessary changes to ensure optimum performance.
Since Digital Marketing is a dynamic industry, you have to continuously develop your knowledge by staying up to date to new developments in the PPC realm. As a PPC Specialist, you should be proactive in providing suggestions designed to improve and develop the client's online presence on both search engine and social media through paid ads.
You will report directly to the Assistant Team Lead and the Digital Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities include:
Perform daily account management of pay-per-click accounts on search platforms like Google, Yahoo, and Bing, as well as social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram, for a variety of clients.
Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of keywords, bids, account daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score and other important account metrics.
Provide creative copy suggestions and graphical ad templates.
Assist in the management of Display network placement lists on AdWords and through other contextual advertising platforms.
Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of paid search in accordance with client goals.
Support the generation of new paid search campaigns, ad groups, and accounts and aid in the creation of new paid search marketing initiatives.
Generate weekly and monthly client reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid search initiatives.
Keep pace with search engine and PPC industry trends and developments.
Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance client goals.
Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels.
Coordinate with project managers and other departments necessary to assign and actively communicate updates on various PPC tasks.

Google Ads fundamentals
Google Ads Display Certification
Google Ads Mobile Certification
Google Ads Search Certification

Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in PPC
In a similar role (preferably client-side)
Proven track record in driving successful PPC and paid search campaigns
Strong working knowledge of Google Adwords and all paid search and social platforms
Google Adwords certification preferable
Strong attention to detail
Passion for PPC and digital marketing in general
Effective communication and reporting skills
Strong track record in managing medium to large-sized budgets
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Good working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Search Console
Excellent project management skills.
Self starter, has the ability to work with minimum supervision.
Has worked with a team, can coordinate with all TLs and department heads.
Excellent writing skills
Excellent English speaking skills - North American or neutral accent is preferred.
