Capitol Steel Corporation seeks fast-learning, self-motivated and goal-oriented Plant Engineer to take a step forward to join a fast-paced environment to support its expansion and operations. He shall be engaged into the day-to-day operations of the Production that shall require his mental and physical ability to perform and finish assigned tasks according to what is planned.
Responsibilities
Will be assigned in plant operations and maintenance management.
Assists in the development and updating of the PM Master Plan and the annual PM schedule for production equipment.
Update the production equipment inspections checklists based on the PM Master Plan.
Will prepare action plan to reduce downtime and improve maintenance procedures.
Will assist in production, maintenance of rolling mill equipment, and quality assurance of rebar's.
Will report to Production Manager.
Will have hands-on exposure to hydraulics, pneumatics and lubrication technology.
Assists in the preparation of short and long term production plans and programs based on equipment and manpower deficiencies based on audit / assessment, studies, inspection, monitoring checklists and CCAR.
Assists in the assessment of practices and activities in the production for standardization and in the preparation of proposals, studies or action plan's for efficiency and safety.
Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's / College Degree, Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial) or equivalent.
Graduates from MAPUA, UST, UE, FEU or equivalent provincial schools are preferred to apply.
With working experience from a manufacturing company such as steel, canning, paper, bottling industry and other heavy industry.
Licensed but not required.
Able to communicate to any level in the organization.
