As a Planning Engineer, you will prepare and update project programmes to incorporate feedback from all disciplines and produce appropriate reports to suit the project requirements.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Respond to the requirements of the project.
Prepare programmes in accordance with the strategic requirements of the project.
Incorporate interface requirements between Procurement, Construction, Fabrication, Installation as appropriate into project programmes.
Make regular site inspections.
Collect and/or update information, checking it's accuracy where necessary and incorporating it into programmes. To update programmes, highlighting adverse situations and seeking possible solutions.
Prepare planning information for reports.
Incorporate changes to the scope of work into programmes, histograms and progress curves, where necessary.
Establish effective working relationships with appropriate project staff to assist in provision of timely and accurate programme, interface and update information.
With Bachelor's Engineering Degree / Diploma or equivalent.
Previous similar minimum experience of 3-5 years.
With Good Communication skills, a team player.
Proficient in MS Project.
Project management qualification would be an advantage.
Experience of maintaining programme performance baselines and their utilisation in generating report management.
Good technical skills including problem solving and decision making.
Good interpersonal and communication skills to ensure effective communication to all levels to both internal and external personnel.
Good oral, written and presentational skills with a particular aptitude for presentation of data for analysis and review.
Must have expertise in standard office software including, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, Word and Outlook.
Interface with team to obtain information and commitment to formulating schedule whilst commanding respect from all stakeholders through technical and personal credibility.
Proven track record of programming portfolios of projects.
