You will help support strategic decision making processes through your analytics, heavy data driven approach, and operational mindset. The ideal candidate for this role should have strong financial skills, analytical skills, excellent time-management, priority setting and organizational habits, and the ability to clearly communicate and present information to seek buy-in.
---- What the Candidate Will Do ----
Gather and organize financial data (prepare and review monthly financial reports) for APAC region
Manage the general ledger entries on a monthly basis
Track expenses and revenues vs. budget, reforecast and analyze fluctuations
Assist in the budget, Headcount and reforecasting processes
Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization as needed
Create impactful presentations to share insights and drive recommendations
The analysts need to provide guidance to businesses and individuals making investment decisions.
Build, and maintain detailed models/dashboards for city-level, regional, and global reporting
Develop analytical frameworks to support the company in new markets and products
Identify operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes to keep support teams as efficient as possible
---- Basic Qualifications ----
Should be from a Finance background (ability to work through Balance sheets and Ledgers)
Analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring and creating financial models for decision support
Need to Determine the cost of operations by establishing standard costs; collecting operational data.
Ability to derive insights from data and recommend actions
Strong performance across all productivity and quality KPIs, and a strong evidence of discipline (healthy leave record, punctual, etc.)
Positive influencer and Uber culture advocate
Exceptional Analytical,basic Statistical analysis, problem solving, Excel and data management skills
Strong communication and organization skills, with the ability to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the key takeaways, and disseminate actionable insights
Preferred Qualifications
1-2 years of work experience in Financial analysis/reporting or related experience is mandatory.The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; will be a creative and analytical problem solver with the ability to fulfill the Uber motto to Work Hard.
