Job Description
The Workforce Planning Manager is responsible for forecasting and preparing for changes in production, workforce planning, volume and staffing. The Workforce Planning Manager coordinates with upper management and production teams regularly in order to resolve issues related to staffing and identifying gaps between organization goal and vision. The Workforce Planning Manager formulates key strategies that address factors that are essential to the organization's success.
What will a normal day look like?
Predict and prepare for changes in production, budget, volume and staffing.
Liaising with other departments and upper management to share information regarding staffing and volume.
Coordinates with upper management and production teams regularly in order to resolve issues related to staffing.
Produce highly accurate reports highlighting results across key business drivers, including trends.
Analysis of data and reporting to identify emerging trends and anomalies, in order to communicate to key stakeholders.
Work with the business to ensure that key tasks performed drive Business Success.
Provide leadership and guidance to the team of Real Time and Workforce Analysts
Qualifications
Essential
Must have impeccable attendance
Must be both confirmed and regularized in current position
A minimum of five years' experience in a workforce planning capacity with previous experience using WFM systems, producing reports, and analysing data.
Experience in large Inbound Contact Centres (500+ seats)
Well versed in workforce planning methodology.
Highly skilled with WFP scheduling software.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Mid-level to advanced experience using Microsoft Office software
Demonstrable experience of effectively engaging with the business including senior management.
Have knowledge of workforce planning principals and business acumen to influence management decisions.
Have working knowledge of scheduling strategies required to support Inbound forecast demands.
Be Proactive versus reactive in anticipating workforce needs
Rise to a challenge and thrive in a fast paced demanding environment
Able to demonstrate logical reasoning and the ability to communicate complex information
People leadership experience
A customer-service orientation
Can-do attitude.
Desirable
BPO experience in a blended Inbound and Outbound operations
Live Chat Experience
IEX Total View and/or Alvaria / Aspect WFM experience
