How you will contribute
You will:
Support and partner with the Senior People Lead on the definition and execution of global and local policy and change initiatives and understand the impacts of the changes planned
Partner with function leads and middle managers to collaborate on creating and delivering the functional priorities and plan, providing strategic guidance
Leverage data analytics in driving business solutions and decisions and support with the delivery of operational processes and leverage insights and data and translate into actionable plans to impact the bottom line and enable business strategy. Inform and update People Services of any local, legal and regulatory changes in market
Lead and advise on talent management practices within assigned business unit related to workforce planning, talent acquisition strategy planning, leadership development, employee development, career and succession planning and talent mobility, approving job requisitions
Build end-to-end capabilities that accelerate consumer-centric growth and operational excellence
Manage works council relations and provide guidance to HR to ensure successful implementation of labor policies and compliance with laws and agreements

What you need to know about this position:
This role is a blend of People Lead responsibilities (as above) plus approximately 30% of your time will be spent on People Experience (PE) activities for the IBS team based in the Philippines.
As a People Lead, you will partner Sandeep Abraham, our Regional People Services Lead AMEA and his team. Sandeep leads a team of over 300 colleagues across our AMEA countries - many based in our employee center in Manila and onshore PS colleagues based in our Mdlz business unit locations across AMEA countries. As PL you will form part of Sandeep's lead team in addition to being a member of the global IBS People Team.
Working in partnership with the People Leads for People Services (PS) in NALA and MEU you will continue to bring our P@th People transformation journey to life, the final phase going live in Q2. You will partner our PS leaders to embed the new organization design, enable it through capability building and new ways of working, and by creating a "One Team" culture. We focus on engagement with our colleagues through the delivery of the IBS functional Amazing People Strategy though our "village" approach), this includes our Diversity and Inclusion priorities, and you will help to bring it to life for our AMEA locations. Pre- and post COVID you will focus on keeping our colleagues safe and employ flexible ways of working in line with our global pledge.
You will also form part of the PE team for Philippines aligning with the local BU approaches as far as practical and continuously improving to enable excellent employee experiences for all our local colleagues. You can expect to be involved in local employee relations topics and decision making for compensation and benefits changes etc.
As you are be part of the People team for IBS, you attend IBS People team meetings where we contribute to our shared agenda and common approaches on people topics and sharing best practices. You may also lead some shared projects on behalf of the function globally.

Ideally prior experience working across geographies as part of a virtual team
Preferred experience within the context of a shared service center
Must be confident working with minimal supervision (line leader is in Europe)
Courageous to challenge the status quo and keen to drive continuous improvement with the influencing skills to enable this
Flexibility required to work across time zones and attend some meetings outside standard working day (as part of a global team we work to minimize this inconvenience but can not fully avoid it for a team across 14 time zones)
Travel requirements: limited travel may be required, typically once/ twice per year
Work schedule:
No Relocation support available, however for candidates voluntarily moving internationally some minimal support is offered through our Volunteer International Transfer Policy
