The Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) Penetration Tester will be responsible for conducting security assessments on applications, networks, and systems to identify vulnerabilities and provide actionable recommendations. This role ensures the organization's infrastructure and client systems are safeguarded against cyber threats by simulating real-world attacks.
Key Responsibilities
Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on web applications, mobile applications, networks, and infrastructure.
Identify, analyze, and exploit security weaknesses in systems.
Provide detailed reports with findings, risk ratings, and remediation recommendations.
Collaborate with IT and development teams to address identified vulnerabilities.
Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, attack techniques, and tools.
Ensure compliance with security standards, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., OWASP, ISO, NIST).
Assist in developing security policies, procedures, and training where necessary.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in penetration testing, ethical hacking, or related cybersecurity roles.
Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, Nmap, Kali Linux).
Solid understanding of OWASP Top 10, secure coding practices, and network security principles.
Relevant certifications preferred: OSCP, CEH, GPEN, eJPT, or similar.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
