BASIC FUNCTION
Position Overview
Our Payroll Tax & Compliance Specialist will work independently on tax mail and monthly audits. This teammate maintains professionalism, safeguards sensitive data, and works issues through resolution in regular interfaces with their manager to provide results to required teams. The Payroll Tax & Compliance Specialist reports to the Payroll Tax & Compliance SR.

Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines with an accurate attention to detail while working with frequent interruptions and minimum supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with teammates and outside agencies.
Ability to perform high-volume detailed work with accuracy, to assume responsibility, to independently make sound fact-based decisions for daily tasks; to maintain confidentiality.
Monitors delivered and digital mail as it pertains to tax and compliance, coordinates with appropriate teams, or takes action to resolve open items as discovered.
Creates and runs routine audit reports to compare difference in tax and compliance fields between our multiple internal systems using vlookups, pivot tables and other intermediate functions of Excel.
Responsible for monthly reporting to Department of Labor and to internal teams for workers compensation and other wage reporting.
Researches and provides tax guidance to US Payroll team as needed.
Oversees ADP service levels in relation to tax filings and deposits or garnishment services.

What you'll need to Join Insight
English proficiency in speaking and writing
Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or University
Minimum 2 years' experience within a payroll specialist/admin role, or other highly detailed finance/accounting role.
Experience with payroll administration, reporting, and/or resolving variances with tax agencies preferred.
Knowledge of payroll functions/processes.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business/ professional journals, technical procedures, or regulations.
Ability to write reports and/or business correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and other employees.
Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
Ability to work in a team environment and participate as an active team member.
Willing to work in a NIGHT SHIFT schedule and HYBRID set-up
Amenable to work in Pasig
