This is a full-time, permanent role, office-based located in Cebu City.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to be assigned to an Australian group of companies in the healthcare industry. You will administer the processing, recording and reconciliation of the group payroll, superannuation, employment related taxation and salary packaging for all employees. You will report to the Services Manager and work closely with the Finance, Human Resources and wider teams to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the payroll function, delivering a friendly, efficient and effective payroll service for all employees.
Role Expectations
Timely and accurate end-to-end weekly payroll processing, including pay slips and reporting;
Collect, calculate, and enter payroll data and submit payroll payments for review and approval before processing;
Ensure that all payroll information is kept up to date and filed appropriately so that all employee personnel, payroll and leave records remain accurate and accessible;
Ensure all payroll reports reconcile before the salary payment being transmitted to the finance team;
Resolve payroll enquiries in a professional manner, providing advice, education and reports to employees;
Support the Finance teams in the compilation of summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave and non-taxable wages and various other payroll reports;
Working consistently to identify and implement areas of improvement across the payroll function;
Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes, working actively with the team to implement and manage the payroll system; and
Resolve payroll discrepancies and treat all payroll and human resources related activities in the strictest of confidence.
Requirements
At least five (5) years demonstrated experience in payroll managing end-to-end payroll & Invoicing
Demonstrated ability working in a deadline orientated environment;
Familiarity to time reporting tools and various payroll cloud applications;
Excellent spoken and written English and a confident speaker to communicate with external and internal clients;
Intermediate to Advanced level in MsExcel;
Q&A/auditing & investigation skills
Is a self-starter who has a strong detail and analytical skills, combined with the demonstrated ability to adhere to strict deadlines and ensure that payroll is processed accurately and on time, every time;
An adaptive team player with an ability to interact with all employees respectfully, ensuring courtesy, patience and understanding, combined with a flexible and open approach to addressing questions and providing practical solutions to payroll problems;
Demonstrated experience, knowledge and understanding of payroll compliance, general payroll practices, procedures, operations and legislation, combined with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate this information to others.

Able to learn and follow multiple Australian pay award rulings
