JOB SUMMARY:
The Payroll Specialist is responsible in gathering information on hours worked for each employee together with the timekeeping personnel. Calculates the correct amount incorporating wages, overtime, deductions, bonuses, etc. with the assistance of HRIS and administers payment on a semi and monthly payout together with FAD.
Receiving approval from upper management for payments when needed.
The position must able to use payroll system with accuracy and efficiency.
They must be good with analyzing data and can be trusted with sensitive information. They also have great communication skills to interact with colleagues and will work closely with Comp. and Benefits Supervisor & Asst. Supervisor up to HCD Sr. Manager when necessary.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Gather information on hours worked for each employee.
2. Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses, mandatory contributions, etc. with the assistance of HRIS.
2.1 Prepares computation semi-monthly payroll, government mandatory deductions and taxes withheld to employees.
2.1.1 Payroll computations for RCSNI (Marilao/Plaridel site) and RCSSI
2.2 Manual encoding and monitoring of the ff:
2.2.1 SSS Salary Loan & SSS Calamity Loan
2.2.2 Pag-ibig Loan & Pag-ibig Calamity Loan
2.2.3 CBS Loan & Savings
2.2.4 Company Loan
3. Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.
4. Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors.
4.1 Validates and manual computation of adjustments submitted by timekeeper.
5. Prepares reports for upper management and or finance department.
5.1 Government mandatory contribution monthly and payroll summary per site.
6. Assists in the employee benefits and rewards processing (bereavement, CBS Loans, etc).
7. Performs other functions that may be requested from time to time.
8. Quality And Food Safety Management System
9. Executes Quality and Food safety standards in RCSI. This includes but not limited to the following :
10. Food Safety System Certification FSSC 22000
11. Pre-requisite programs such as GWP, GDP, DQMP
JOB SPECIFICATIONS (QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES)
1. Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or its equivalent.
2. Must have at least 2 years' experience in Payroll functions such as payroll and or timekeeping.
3. Proven experience as Payroll Specialist.
4. Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
5. Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail.
6. Candidate must be amenable to work and assigned in Plaridel, Bulacan.
