The Job
In this role, you will be preparing employees compensations and calculating bonuses and allowances. You will schedule bank payments and ensure that employees receive salaries on appropriate date specified by company.
You will be responsible for :
Collect daily, weekly or monthly timesheets
Distributing payment statements and generating reports as needed
Reporting on payroll expenses & ensuring wages and tax withholdings comply with regulations
Entering new employees' data (e.g. bank accounts and tax identification numbers) into internal databases
Answering questions about compensation, benefits, taxes and insurance deductions
Managing and overseeing the weekly timesheet as well as the time-keeping application used by the company
The Profile
You have a degree in Accounting, Human Resources or relevant field with at least 2 years experience as a Payroll Officer, Payroll Clerk or similar role
You have hands-on experience with HRIS and accounting software
You possess strong math skills with an ability to spot numerical errors
You have good knowledge of labor legislation and Philippine Labor Laws.
You have strong time-management skills, with ability to handle confidential information.
