Role Description
Lead and direct all Compensation and Benefits policies and processes including payroll administration towards an integrated community that will foster a culture of excellence. Contribute to the development of healthy and engaged community members in the university.
Accesses HRIS data and information needed to strategically support and manage all processes for Compensation and Benefits and Payroll administration. Maintains regular and open communication to all employees, including employee union.
Qualifications
Experienced payroll specialist or a mid-career payroll, compensation and benefits professional
Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes
Experienced in data, archives and records management
Actual work experience and use of information technology systems for Human Resource Management, HR / People Analytics, Document and Records Management, HRIS Data and Information Management
Proficient with payroll software
Proven experience in payroll & benefits processing and compliance to Philippine labor and wage laws and government mandated benefits
NIAT Certified Payroll Professional, Certified Accounting Technician Level 3 or a Certified, Total Rewards Specialist/Professional is an advantage
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related course
