The Human Resources Payroll Manager is responsible in ensuring that all processes are executed appropriately and in a timely manner; act as a subject matter expert and escalation point to resolve issues and continuously looks for improvements in operational processes and designs and implements those initiatives; streamline work processes to provide quality services; and optimizes the contribution of the team through coaching, counseling and implements workable solutions to business issues/problems with minimum referral to management.
Responsibilities:
PAYROLL MANAGEMENT
Processes regular and confidential payrolls
Reconciles registered payroll and bank tallies
Reviews payroll instructions for transmittal to BPO, processed payroll, summary of deductions and other related payroll reports
BENEFITS MANAGEMENT
Prepare work flow analysis as to number of employees, basic pay and SSS, HDMF, SLA contribution and loan amortization
Review monthly report on membership contribution and loan amortization of employees for SSS, HDMF and Philhealth and ensure that totals reconcile with the payroll register.
Ensure that all reports of the contribution and/or loan amortization of SSS and HDMF are sent
Coordinate with Government Agencies to ensure timely compliance to new rules and regulations
Review consolidated monthly contribution list and loan amortization of employees (executives to project employees) for SSS, HDMF and Philhealth.
