Position Overview:
The Coca-Cola payroll team is in search of a Payroll Delivery Analyst responsible for delivery of the US and Canada Payrolls and related payroll activities. The analyst must be highly focused on compliance and continuous improvement. The analyst will be responsible for conducting end to end payroll activities for assigned US and/or Canada payroll frequencies, collaborate with other payroll and benefits associates around the globe and third-party payroll vendors. This is a complex payroll environment, using multiple applications for key data points, must be comfortable in a collaborative yet self-managed work environment, possess effective time management skills of competing priorities and strong attention to detail and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage assigned payroll processing frequencies, end-to-end processes with inputs from internal and external stakeholders, to deliver the targeted outcome of 100% accuracy and timeliness, in accordance with all policies and laws.
Execute and maintain payroll checklists to ensure key tasks are completed, process documentation is updated, and business controls are functioning properly. Perform audit tasks and peer review associated with the delivery of payroll.
Provide insights on opportunities to improve payroll efficiencies and results during post-payroll review meetings with third-party managed service payroll partners.
Prepare and manage off cycle payment cycles and other payroll activities such as overpayments, direct deposit errors, uncashed checks and payroll adjustments, when necessary. Ensure YTD payroll activity is accurately reported for year-end statements.
Analyze and interpret requirements to resolve employee payroll cases, as needed. Including collaborating with HR, benefits and other partners.
Review payroll inputs through HRIS system, in accordance with review policies.
Manage all responsibilities in accordance with payroll laws and regulations, as well as internal standard operating procedures, controls and audits.
Lead payroll projects and/or participate on cross-functional teams to implement new technologies or enhancements to existing processes/reports.
Respond to queries raised by external auditors / vendors with regards to payroll delivery processes.
Track errors to drive internal performance improvements and monitor the efficiency of the end-to-end process.
